Best vegan donuts ever!!! For non vegans cant go wrong either. I have been going here for 20 years and quality is supreme
The staff was so nice. She was also quick because I got my order in just 5 minutes. The donuts are so delicious! She even checked up on us to see if we enjoyed the suggestion she gave. I love it!
They have all kinds of flavors and different types of donuts, cronuts, you name it. We got two sets of 4 donuts, and 2 extra cronuts on the side. It cost around $35, so definitely no corner donut shop but their flavors are unique and worth it.
Very delicious donuts. Love the buttermilk. Staple of the community. I don't see the elderly owners during this Covid time but I hope they are alright.
Great service! I think the best part of these donuts is that they aren't heavy. The dough is fresh and light, the creams aren't overbearing, and they have a huge variety of flavors. There are so many Cronut flavors, but my favorite is the strawberry Nutella, which also happens to be their most popular flavor.
The best. Hand down. Just the best donuts I've ever tried.Starting from the beginning. Huge parking in the rear. I live in koreatown, so I know tough parking situation could be.Very small but very clean place inside. Usually you can spot donuts that have been for a long time on a display....but i didn't see one. Each one was looking so fresh and nice.We took 8 donuts....omg the were so delicious. Such a fluffy, soft and fresh donuts.I love Primo's! Everyone who works there is super nice. I love going to different donut places that are rated highly, but Primo's is hands down my favorite. The buttermilk donuts truly are as phenomenal as legend says they are. I don't know how, other than it's just the love and experience of Mr. Primo himself, touching every single donut, every single day. Thanks Primo's for the delicious Dount's!
Primo doughnutsBlueberry, cake doughnut but was not dry and had a nice blueberry frostingPumpkin, this was like eating not pumpkin bread but a pumpkin cakeChurro, was a cross better a cake doughnut and a churro. Had a nice simple taste but nothing Uber wowOld fashioned, had an odd shape but was a typical old fashioned, just lacking the chrispy edgesButterfly cinnamon roll, i.e. cinnamon roll on its sideLong john, chocolate barAll where more most then an average doughnut but not overly so and all did not leave that over processed ingredient feel.
So good. Never change, Primos.
Their donuts are great! Such a good flavor that doesn't taste artificial. The staff are nice and friendly. The place is also child friendly and it is relaxing and the decors are all so nice.
Vegan donuts! My go-to vegan donut place is in L.A. at Donut Friend, but Primo's Donuts works just fine at suppressing my donut cravings! This place seems super mom-and-pop and it is usually quiet when I swing by. I've only been here twice so far, but they haven't run out of vegan donuts for me yet
Extremely insane toppings decorate these tasty treats. Every donut I have tried from here is delicious! It's a fun experience that you don't want to miss. The lines can sometimes be long but it moves quickly and there is no seating.
The horchata and abuelitas cold brew is the best I have ever had! Not to mention the donuts or sooo soft and flaky!!! Highly recommend the Samoa donut ! Def coming back! Drove 30min in traffic and it was well worth it!!
Absolutely love Primos! We lived right around the corner from them for years and we had a ritual of getting them every weekend. We recently moved up north of the Valley so I don't get to stop every weekend but any time I am near Primos or getting people from the airport, I make a stop. Buttermilk bars are to die for and I haven't found a better croissant since I was in Paris. They really are the best.
Freaking 🍩 are delicious. Good prices, good variety. Everything is from the same day, last day tops. Just go and try it yourself.
I was so excited when I got there because I've been wanting to go there for a while until finally I was able to go to CA but when I went inside after waiting for 15 minutes outside practicing social distancing I come to the surprise that the guy in the back who is preparing the dough or doughnuts is not wearing a mouth cover and they have a sign on the door saying you can't go in if you're not wearing a mask Lol and when I mentioned this to the cashier, how can this be possible were they are making us wear a mouth cover while his cook is not wearing one and her attitude change to a negative side, I definitely will never go back to this place.
I've been driving by this place for years and never stopped by. I finally decided to give it a try I had a glazed and glazed buttermilk donut which both were very good. Limited parking on the street and parking available in the rear. Very friendly staff.
Service is good and friendly, always eager to help with the tough decisions, like should I have Primo's Donuts partnered with coffee!!!
I do recommend this place. Donuts are always fresh and tastes great. Employees are wonderful and friendly. Got to have these donuts.
Their donuts are the best. The only downside is the price. They're more expensive than the more popular brands out there
Best donuts in LA. I've been going there since I was a kid!
These are probably the best dough nuts I've ever had hands down huge selection 24hours.delicious.fluffy.amazing next time I'm out this way it's a must stop.
Fantastic donuts will return in the future. For more
my family have came there several time and we have tested their delicious foods and desserts. it was good
There's always a line and like some have said you don't know when it'll be open BUT the egg tarts here are the best I've ever had. The most I've had to wait was 45 mins but trust me, it's worth the wait.
Their donuts are very fresh every time I stop by. They have a larger variety to choose from during the daytime than during night time. Very reasonable prices and friendly service!
Super friendly staff and the best donuts I've found on the westside. All handmade and delicious
My husband had the corn beef hash and I had a Reuben sandwich with fries. Both equally enjoyable!
Delicious donuts! The crispy buttermilk donuts they're known for are really good, and so are the regular frosted one! I got a blueberry frosted donut and it was delicious! The dough is so soft! Also really nice cashier and staff!
My favorite was the cake donuts. Others, like the glazed twist and buttermilk
Been coming to Primo's Donuts for over 10 years which is crazy to say, but their service and quality of food has only continued to improve over the years. Chicken potstickers, Shelby chicken, vegetable chow mein, Kung Pao shrimp, and Mongolian beef are just some of our favorites. Wait can be long on weekends for takeout but all good things are worth waiting for! If you're thinking about trying this place, stop thinking, and just go!
Best place to pick up a delicious sweet treat or breakfast burrito. Great service and very cute place to order in or take to go.
Best buttermilk donuts on this side of town. Go early when everything's coming fresh out of the kitchen - the smell is just heavenly! Don't stop at buttermilk though, they have amazing cinnamon rolls, yeasted donuts, croissants and more. Plus there's usually three or four different brews of Stumptown coffee on the side. Service is always warm and friendly, feels family run.
Delicious donuts and friendly advice! Their buttermilk biscuits are amazing.
great cake donuts. horribly high prices
Everything you've read about this place is true. The donuts are very good, the buttermilk donuts are tender and perfectly fried. I came here because some of my coworkers are vegan, this place sells vegan donuts.
My family and I came here because of my daughter's excitement to try the highly rate Primo's Donuts. I was excited to try the cinnamon roll. To say the least I walked out with nothing. Before we stepped in (with masked) the female employee aggressively asked us to wait outside. My family and I understand what's going on and the need for social distancing it's just her abrasive tone that made our experience unpleasant. I'm not interested in trying anything from this establishment after that experience.
Best donuts for at least the 45 years i have been enjoying
Wrong Hours - Considering that store hours might change on Veterans Day I decided to call early on the morning to ask what time they will be closing today. A gentlemen that answered the phone informed me that they would be closing at 1:00 PM due to Veterans day. I drove all the way from Anaheim on my day off just to make it on time for this famous donuts just to find out completely CLOSED at 12:25PM.The whole point of me calling was to save myself the gas and time of driving all they way thru traffic...I would not recommend this place for the poor customer service.
Oh, too delicious i can't stop coming here. I'm addicted to their donuts. I always eat on place and take some home. OH, i love it.
They claim to be the best donuts in LA and they are 100% correct. Picked up a half dozen for my office on the way to work and they were still warm when I got to the office. Their cake donuts melted in my mouth and the buttermilk were off the hook! Definitely a must try if you're a donut connoisseur.
Incredible donuts! Would give 6 stars if possible, ordered on delivery and they added in loads of free extra donuts - all delicious. Favourite definitely the speciality buttermilk bar
These donuts are fluffy and delicious. The glaze doesn't taste like all sugar like Krispy Kreme and isn't too cakey. I love it. Today I tried the Reese's Peanut butter chocolate chip one and it was AMAZING. It was really rich so I spread it out over a couple hours and even shared a (albeit small) piece.
Got a good solid glazed donut on national donut day. My friend describes the donuts here as airy and not-too-dense, and I have to agree. I appreciate that it's 24 hours and a nice little local donut shop in LA.
Best donuts in LA. Hands down
Best in LA. My fiance and I have an emotional relationship with this place. Really fresh, always friendly, always stocked up. Prices are amazing.. we're here I think every week, he he.
I got there around 11 am. I didnt order a donut, but perhaps a danish. It was super dry, and the staff was not very welcoming - seemed almost annoyed to serve us. My wife got a donut, it was OK, but nothing I would drive far to get my hands on. I guess you have to get there really early to get something fresh.
